Runner is a tool that runs on your computer, not a service that watches you use it. This page lists every single thing that leaves your machine. If something is not on this list, it does not get sent.
| When | What is sent | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You claim a beta key | The email address you type | So one key belongs to one person, and so returning to the page gives you the same key instead of issuing a new one |
| You activate the panel | Your licence key, a hashed device ID, and a device label | To bind the key to one machine and stop one key being shared endlessly |
| Roughly every 6 hours | Your signed licence token | To confirm the key is still valid and re-issue an offline token |
| Something fails | The error message, a short context string, the app version, and a hashed install ID | So bugs surface without you having to report them. Sent automatically. |
| You press Feedback | What you typed, your email if you chose to add one, the app version, and a hashed install ID | So I can read it and reply |
| You join the Mac list | The email address you type | One email when a Mac build exists |
On Windows, Runner reads your machine's MachineGuid, adds a fixed
prefix, runs it through SHA-256, and keeps the first 32 characters. Only that
hash is ever transmitted. The original value never leaves your computer, and the
hash cannot be turned back into it.
This is your computer's hostname plus the word Windows, for example
STUDIO-PC · Windows. It exists so that if a key is already active
somewhere, the error can tell you where instead of just refusing. If your
hostname contains your name, that name is in the label. You can change it: edit
deviceLabel in config.json inside
%LOCALAPPDATA%\PremiereAssetBrowser.
The panel contains a real web browser. When you visit a site in it, that site sees your IP address and can set its own cookies, exactly as it would in Chrome. That traffic goes straight from your computer to that site. It does not pass through me and I cannot see it. But it does mean the privacy policy of any site you browse applies to you normally while you are in the panel.
That is the complete list. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with anyone for advertising, because there is no advertising.
Licence records last as long as the licence. Error reports and feedback are kept while they are still useful for fixing things, and are deleted once the bug they describe is closed. Email addresses on the Mac list are deleted once the Mac build ships and the one email has gone out.
static.cloudflareinsights.com stops it, and the site works
normally without it. Nothing on this site depends on it loading.%LOCALAPPDATA%\PremiereAssetBrowser, which includes your key,
device ID, cache, and browser cookies.Email me and I will tell you every row I hold that is connected to you, send it to you, or delete it. This is one person with a small database, not a ticketing system, so please just ask plainly.
Runner is a professional video editing tool and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect anything from them.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the date at the top changes and the change is announced before it takes effect.
The fastest route is the Feedback button in the panel header, which reaches me directly. For privacy requests specifically, email muhammadtalha12347777@gmail.com.
